JP Carlin is one of the co-owners of Boomerang Transport along with Wes Turner. He lives in North Carolina and is a proud father to his son. When he isn’t working hard for Boomerang Transport, JP enjoys being in the outdoors and visiting national parks. JP is the recipient of the Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America and graduated from Appalachian State University. Go Mountaineers!

Wes Turner is one of the two owners of Boomerang Transport and currently resides in North Carolina. Entrepreneurship has been a passion of his. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Accounting, has has since started three successful businesses. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family (with his father, wife and daughter), listening to live music (favorite band: Langhorne Slim), running (2015 finisher of the NYC marathon), reading a good book (favorite: Kite Runner) and a good TV series (favorites: The Wire & Madmen).

Mike is the Vice President of Operations at Boomerang Transport. He has a Masters Degree in History from the University of Central Florida and still resides in the Orlando area. He enjoys spending his time being cynical and sarcastic in everything he does.

Hi! I’m Patricia and I am a coordinator for Boomerang. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Appalachian State University. I currently live in Raleigh, NC, with my wife Chelsea and our bulldog Winifred, along with an array of other more exotic pets, including a tarantula, a rainbow stag beetle, and a whip scorpion. When I’m not coordinating, I am a musician in my spare time, predominantly playing bass guitar and composing, and I love going to concerts of any genre – but I do have a special love for heavy metal shows! I have also been known to enjoy watching extremely bad television shows, ranging from Gordon Ramsay reality cooking shows to poorly-acted science fiction procedurals.

Hi everyone! My name is Brandi Turner and I have been the Office Manager for Boomerang for 6 years and counting. l am originally from California, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina as a teenager. My husband and I just welcomed our first child, Harlow in September 2022. I have a passion for health and fitness and have recently started CrossFit Training. In my free time I enjoy practicing hot yoga, working out, hiking, gardening and hanging out with my family and friends. I am blessed to be a part of the Boomerang team and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Hi, I’m Emily and I have been a coordinator for Boomerang for 2 years and counting, and I work evening shift! In my free time, I enjoy going to thrift stores, spending time with friends and family, and being outside in the sunshine. I went to UNC Chapel Hill and I love watching Carolina basketball every season. I am a horror nerd – I love scary movies, oddities and curiosities, and all things weird. I’m a homebody at heart, so you can usually catch me at home hanging out with my cat, Luna. I love my job and am so grateful to be part of the Boomerang Team!

Hi! My name is Piper and I’m a coordinator for Boomerang Transport. I was born and raised in the sunshine state, so whenever I have free time, you can catch me at Disney spending time with my two young children. I enjoy helping others and am here to help in any way that I can. I love being a part of the Boomerang team and look forward to many more years to come.

Nicole S. Boyd is a coordinator with Boomerang Transport and an administrative professional originally from Raleigh NC. She has served in various industries over the past 12 years including pharmacy automation, construction, commercial property management and currently personal transportation with Boomerang Transport. She loves helping others and is also a part of a family operated non-profit organization of women whose mission is to serve homeless and lesser fortunate communities. She has a passion for journalism and currently teaches a communications workshop on weekends to young adults in Charlotte, NC.

My name is Iohanna Silva and I am a Coordinator for Boomerang Transport. I am originally from Brazil, and I moved to the United States at a young age. I speak Portuguese, and a little Spanish. My personal motto is “Positive outcomes only” and I aim to find the positive in every situation. I am thrilled to be a part of the Boomerang team, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me.

Hi, my name is Chris Ramsey and I am a coordinator for Boomerang! I love coffee most likely from being a long-time barista for Starbucks back when Starbucks had coffee culture. I enjoy many outdoor recreational activities such as mountain biking, swimming, hiking, and agriculture. Most of the time outside of work I am busy with little projects that my wife concocts that range from carpentry to taking a television apart. Lastly, my passion is teaching others about the Bible and helping them improve their everyday life, giving them a positive hope for the future.

My name is Brittney Farmer and I’m from Laurinburg NC. It’s small but if you’ve driven to Myrtle Beach on 501 S you’ve been there, and probably didn’t even know it! I now live in Greensboro, NC and I’m a 2021 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. In my free time I enjoying reading, listening to podcasts and meeting new people.

I’m Dani! I’m 32 years young, and a recent transplant from Phoenix, Arizona. I live in Gastonia with my partner and our 5 cats. I love cooking, dancing, and music. I play 4 instruments and produce house tracks in my free time. I love the color pink and I’ll never turn down an iced coffee.

My name is Angela Verdon. I am one of the drivers for the company in the Wilmington area. I grew up with 7 brothers and sisters in a suburb north of NYC, then lived in North Central Pennsylvania where I was employed by Highmark Medicare Services. We moved to Wilmington to be near our two daughters and spend a lot of our time boating, riding our bicycles, traveling (by car), and hanging out with the family. I also do volunteer work for Step of for Soldiers based in Carolina Beach. I joined the Boomerang team because of a love for driving and learning the lay of the land.

My name is Barry and I am proud to say that I am the first driver that was ever hired by Boomerang. I have extensive experience in the medical transport industry from working in a similar field in Portland Oregon for several years. I enjoy living in Charlotte as I can spend more time with my family.

Hi, my name is Val Hawes. After retiring from a large wholesale food distributor in Maryland where I worked for 25 years, I decided to relocate to beautiful Lake Wylie, SC. I came out of retirement to work for Boomerang Transport. Since I really like helping people in need, I think working as a driver for Boomerang really allows me to do just that. Both my children are married now, but I do have a newfoundland and golden retriever that I consider my “kids.”

Hi! My name is Jay Pittman. I am 46 years old and I live in Tucker GA. I have lived in Georgia all my life. Now being on disability, I needed to find something to keep me busy. I found Boomerang Transport and it has been an answered prayer. I am helping other people, staying active and thanks to Boomerang Transports giving back to charities, I too, am giving back! Greetings, my name is Tuan Pham, Boomerang Driver for the North East San Antonio Area, Texas. I recently retired from the Marine Corps after completed 27.5 years in service (Apr/2017). I am also a 100% Permanent and Disabled combat veteran. I’d like to stay active and enjoy my retirement. So safety is always paramount. Robbie Patton is a driver in Virginia. He served 30 years as a teacher, coach, and principal in public high schools. He graduated with a BS in Political Science from Radford University. He graduated with a Master in Criminal Justice from Radford University. He then obtained an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech. He has been a bus driver and worked 3 years for Jonas Trucking as a driver.

Hi everyone, my name is Wally Gonzalez! I was born and raised in South Texas. After 32 rewarding years in the civil service, I decided I would retire early to do new things. My wife and I were blessed to live 14 years in Huntsville, Alabama before moving back to South Texas 18 years ago. I love sports, adventure, traveling and most of all serving others. I have two side ventures that I have been working from home for a few years and I look forward to serving people through Boomerang. My wife and I have two children, one whom is currently at Texas A & M College Station and the other lives with us here in Corpus Christi.

Hi! My name is Marty Birch and I am a driver in Gainesville, Florida. I am originally from Kansas City and am a Chiefs football fan, like a lot of other people in the area. I retired after 40 years in the automotive aftermarket parts industry. My wife and I moved to be closer to our daughter’s family which includes two grandsons, ages 9 and 12. I have been married to my wife, Candy for 43 years. She is a long time educator in English, and Journalism. She spent the last 18 years before retirement as an assistant principal at a large high school in Olathe, Kansas. Upon retiring and moving to Florida in 2019, I felt I needed to do something to fill my time. I wanted something part time, working from home, with a flexible schedule. Three months and I did not find anything I liked until Boomerang Transport came along. It is a luxury to be able to accept or decline a trip. Although, I accept as many as possible, just depending on my schedule. I started with Boomerang in October of 2019 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am able to engage with most clients if they are interested in talking and fortunately, I can carry on a conversation with anyone on any number of mundane topics. Boomerang has been the perfect job for me. And it gets me out of the house for a couple of hours each week and my wife likes that.

Hello, I’m Kathryn Richards. I lived in Texas for most of my life, but moved to Delaware when I retired to be closer to my kids and grandkids. I worked in education as a math teacher and a librarian. I love my time with my family, playing Pickleball, biking, kayaking, going to the beach, hanging out with my dog Maisie, and of course driving.
